Yucca filamentosa 0,3–0,4 m

Adam's needle is a slow-growing, long-lived, evergreen shrub with a woody stem that grows to a height of about 1.2-1.6 m. The leaves are sword-shaped and can be up to 70 cm long, with thread-like fibers hanging from their edges. Its white flowers bloom in giant terminal spikes from July to August. It is recommended to plant it in a sunny spot, in sandy, dry, calcareous soil rich in nutrients. Its water need is low, and it tolerates drought well. It adorns the garden all year round, so it can be planted as a standalone plant or together with other perennials.
